But, you know me and sweets - the whole family followed Abby's lead in saying that the ones they made in class were better than mine. (and the other 3 kids didn't even taste the others, her descripton alone was enough) Why don't you serve chocolate dipped shortbread for breakfast? It goes great with coffee! I cheat. I make a hungarian thing that is like crepes...but the kids put butter and maple syrup or peanut butter on them.....and I make the first 20 or so and then they have to finish. My mom recently go this Villaware crepe maker that is super-easy to use, and if you have a simple filling of fresh fruit and a cream cheese whipped cream frosting, no baking necessary, and you have a delicious breakfast or dessert in under 10 minutes. I'm all about finding a way to simplify things.
