When I cracked my tooth a few years back and couldn't get in to see someone for weeks, I took Aleve - it is an over the counter pain killer that lasts 8-12 hours and the stuff actually worked. Tylenol only lasted about 3 hours, which meant I didn't get any sleep. You can also try some oragel or some other type of topical treatment, but I found that my whole mouth was numb but my tooth pain still existed. I wish you well.
