A Bunch of Burts

Whew!

We had good news from the vet this week. She is not a hemophiliac. We wait one more month and then check again and if everthing is still OK, we can get her fixed. Because taking her to the country with that task undone, is NOT an option.
As my friend Shelley said, those dogs out there are loose in both meanings of the word.

It is completely cold-hearted and stingy of me to have had a part of me wishing the dog did have a problem, that would cause us to have to get rid of her? Just a part.

But Leah had been praying for the whole week that Ginger would be OK and we could keep her. Her prayers were answered, so I will praise God with her.

Hopefully, she will be a bit calmer too, afterwards. I can hope, right?

Note, you do not find me any of them. This is on purpose. Not only are wet clothes clinging to me unattractive and not fit for posting, someone has to volunteer to remain relatively dry and take the pictures.

It has been quiet on the Burt Blog Front for a while. We have been visiting friends in the NE part of Thailand.
We made it back to Chiang Mai just in time for the biggest party of the year here, Thai New Year.
Otherwise known as Songkran.
Otherwise known as a huge city wide water fight and free for all.
A great and entertaining way to cool off from these high temps that have moved in.
We will be ‘playing water’ at the corner of the office tommorrow!

I am sitting here, waiting for an Ebay auction to close and apparently, it is time for me to go to bed.
Or at least time to shut the computer down.

How do I know?
I am being innundated with small flying bugs that are compulsively drawn to the light of my screen and desklamp.

They are crawling on the keyboard, screen and me! Ick.

Ok, ok, I can take a hint.

(it is a homeschool item, so no guilt!)

Ema was indignant when she saw that I did not post a picture of her eating a huge burger on Easter too.
So here are the kids and thier tasty lunches!
